Hello!
Thank you for being here.
My name is Heather Keddy, and I am a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) student based on the beautiful South Shore of Nova Scotia. I am currently completing my studies and expect to graduate in the winter of 2026.
It is my delight to have the opportunity to be considered as part of your journey toward greater balance, wellness, and connection through Traditional Chinese Medicine.
My Story
My path to TCM has been anything but conventional. My previous studies and experiences have included horticulture, hospitality, music, business, and culinary arts. While these areas may seem quite different from one another, each has given me valuable knowledge, skills, and perspectives that continue to shape the practitioner I am becoming.
From working with plants and understanding their growth and unique properties, to learning the importance of nourishment, connection, creativity, communication, and caring for others, I have found that every chapter of my education has something meaningful to contribute to my practice.
I have always been fascinated by the many ways in which we can support the body and encourage a greater sense of balance and wellbeing.
My studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine have allowed me to explore this connection in a much deeper way, while also reminding me that every person is unique. There is no single approach that works exactly the same way for everyone, and I value taking the time to listen, understand, and meet each person where they are.
Alongside my TCM studies, I am currently continuing my education in Herbalism through the Bloom Institute of Holistic Living and Learning, Inc. This additional area of study is particularly meaningful to me as I continue working toward my long-term goal of becoming a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor.
I am passionate about continuing to learn and grow, and I believe that education is an ongoing part of becoming a knowledgeable, thoughtful, and compassionate practitioner.
Whether you have been exploring Traditional Chinese Medicine for years or are simply curious and wondering if it may be right for you, I welcome you. Whatever reason has brought you here, I am grateful for the possibility of being a small part of your journey.
My hope is to create a comfortable, welcoming, and respectful space where you feel heard and supported.
I look forward to learning more about you, sharing what I have learned through my studies, and working together toward your individual wellness goals.
Thank you for taking the time to read a little about me and my journey. It would be an honour to welcome you and to have the opportunity to support you through Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Warmly,
Heather Keddy
